Grenache and Shiraz make a match made in heaven when their true characters are in abundance. Beautiful, bright, fresh raspberry and strawberry notes courtesy of the Grenache leap out of the glass, and are evdient all the way through on the palate. The Shiraz adds delicious spice and pepper notes, and adds wonderful texture and weight. This 2004 is exceptional in its balance and poise. This is the 6th Release of this lush and intense Shiraz with 57% of the fruit sourced from Western Australia and 43% from South Australia. The pepper and spice comes from the cooler vineyards of southwest Western Australia, and the rich dark characters from South Australia’s Clare Valley. Great balance and elegance. A very seductive wine.
