100% Malbec
Dark berry, plum and spice aromas intermingle with fine notes of violet and blueberry. Tannins are ripe and integrated, lending a velvety texture to this wine. The wine was lightly pressed and racked into small French and American oak barrels (50-50, of which 30% were new oak), where a malolactic fermentation took place, with the wine then aged in barrel a further 12-months to enable the phenols from the wine to mature properly. Final blending and a light egg white fining were done prior to bottling and release.
