Day-to-day operations at the winery are under the expert supervision of lead winemaker, Juan Marco. For Marco, who was raised on his family’s grain farm in Mendoza and went on to graduate from the renowned viticultural program at U.C. Davis, the appointment marked a return to his native Argentina after several years in California and Europe, where he worked and consulted for a number of highprofile estates.

Purple-colored, it has an attractive perfume of pain grille, clove, smoke, pencil lead, cassis, and black cherry. Medium to full-bodied, it has a solid core of ripe fruit, a firm structure, and excellent balance. It will unfold over the next 5-7 years and drink well through 2025
Good fresh ruby-red color. Nuanced, fresh nose offers blackberry, violet, licorice, roast coffee, mint and leather. Suave, sweet and rather elegant, with harmonious acidity and a violet element giving it lovely mid-palate lift. Nicely airy wine, with nothing heavy or overextracted about it. Finishes with sweet tannins and lingering perfume.
