La Flor is is the name given to the Pulenta Estates’ young wines. These labels offer not only great value, but the exquisite everyday pleasure that is appreciated by polished palates at ease.
The Malbec offers a deep red colour iwth violet hues, an intense aroma of ripe-red fruits with floral notes, accompanied by vanilla and tobacco imparted by oak. Once in the mouth, this wine is perceived round, with good character and full body, soft tannins that grant this malbec great complexity and a momrable finish.

Primary fruit aromas. Opulent, concentrated berry fruit, well crafted, balanced tannins and acidity, youthful, classic style. Drink 2009-12.
A pre-fermentation cool maceration and a post fermentation sojourn for three months in new French oak have framed the quality here. Deep purple in colour with a nose of red berries, vanilla and chocolate, the wine is blessed with beautiful sweet fruit and a delicious and spicy backdrop. Rich and elegant, but with an almost ethereal quality, but sufficiently grounded to accompany, comme il faut, a sirloin steak!
