The 2006 Gran Corte is composed of 45% Malbec, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 3% Tannat, and 3% Petit Verdot aged in French oak. Deep crimson-colored, it has a complex aromatic array of cedar, leather, spice box, mineral, black currant, and black cherry. Medium-bodied, firmly structured, and concentrated, it has outstanding depth, savory flavors, and a 45-second finish. Drink it from 2012 to 2021. By Jay Miller
