Yellow Tail The Reserve Shiraz 2006
Southeastern Australia
100% Shiraz
The fruit for The Reserve wines is sourced from Australia’s most prestigious winegrowing regions including Cowra, Orange, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Eden Valley, and blended with fruit from the Riverina regions, home to Casella Wines. The warm climate of the Riverina provides the backbone with big, ripe concentrated fruit flavors. Fruit from the cool climate regions contribute crisp acidity, elegance and finesse.
To add complexity and texture to The Reserve’s fruit-driven palate, the wine is aged in new and old Frenck oak.
