Conde Superunda 2002
Miguel Torres
Curicó Valley, Chile

22% Cabernet Sauvignon
3% Carmenère
15% Monastrell
60% Tempranillo

The name of  Superunda “Lord of the waves“ makes reference to the intervention of this Spanish noble in 1746 during the tragic seaquake of Callao, when wooden vessels appeared to aid te people affected by the great tidal wave.

Tasting Notes:  Elegant and dense aroma with  hints of dark fruits (plum, cranberries) over a background of toasted bread. Complex, fleshy and nicely balanced on the palate, prolonged with hints of jam and tobbaco to a pleasant exquisite finish.
